About the Film:
Finding Calcutta
Sparked by the upcoming Canonization of Mother Theresa to Sainthood, three young Americans travel to India. We follow as they tour incredible India, including Taj Mahal, Jaipur, Ganges and other exotic sites, on their way to Calcutta, where they will serve the poorest of the poor in several houses founded by Mother Theresa. Listen to their experiences first-hand, along with those of long time, experienced volunteers from other nations, such as Spain, Italy and China. The story continues with a trip to Rome to witness the Canonization of Mother Theresa in St. Peter’s square.

We all see poverty everyday. We witness the poor begging on the streets everyday. Giving a dollar bill or the leftovers from a fancy restaurant is a good start but that’s not the only way to help and they are not the only poor in our society.
